Nooksack Valley Students Connecting with County Library

Nooksack Valley Schools has shown impressive growth within the Whatcom County Library System’s ConnectED program, which encourages students to check out books throughout the library system. NV students are using ConnectED more and more, checking out 1,781 books last school year, a 78% increase over the previous year. Of all the districts, Nooksack Valley experienced the highest growth rate. One highlight of the year was the district’s kindergartners visiting the Everson Library and library staff ensuring every student’s library account was updated so they could check out a book as part of the event.
